He has lived here as a student, an outdoor enthusiast, an entrepreneur selling stir-fry noodles at the Saturday market, and as a custom carpenter for many years. He has volunteered with local non-profits, served on boards including The Squamish Chamber and The Squamish Community Housing Society.
He established the charity OurSquamish Placemaking Society and in that role built street furniture, started a bike valet social enterprise, and created a community. He also started his own family. Through all these phases of life, he couldn’t imagine a better place to call home then Squamish. Over the years, ReGen Homes evolved from an idea to make a greater impact in the community he loves, into reality.

At a glance, you’ll see that directly behind the Sitkas is green, then there’s a trail, a stream, and a forest. When you look closer you’ll see that most of that green is a tangle of invasive species. Himalayan Blackberry, Japanese Knotweed, and Policeman’s Helmet are just a few recorded in our initial assessments of the site. We are changing that. These plants and the soil containing their roots are being removed and the site restored to native plants and trees, including the planting young Sitka Spruce saplings which will one day tower above the community reminding us of what once came before.
